Last week, Omotola Jalade-Ekiende went on a rant on social media in response to entertainment bloggers who described her daughter Meraiah Ekeinde as ‘Hot and sexy’.
The Nollywood actress and 2013 Time Magazine Icon barked at online media, chastising them for visiting her 14-year-old daughter’s Instagram page, culling her photos and spreading them all over the internet.
‘Thank you to everyone who wished Meraiah a happy birthday. However, going to a 14 year old’s ‘private’ online accts to post her pictures for public viewing is totally inappropriate. Her father and I are horrified as parents and guardian that a minor’s picture can be paraded online as ‘hot’ ,’sexy’ etc.’, she wrote on her official Facebook page.

"This picture always make tears come down my chin, she was 2years old here, I was living in the street I kept my baby with a friend so I can go look for money for us to survive, n my daughter was kicked out of my friends house, I had no where to keep her, I was begging for a place to stay so she can be safe and sleep , so I started crying and she said to me mummy I will buy you chocolate don't cry ok? that even made me cry the more ... I managed to knock on a rich guy's gate and beg for help and Cos of the baby he gave me a room and a nanny so I can work in one of his restaurants, I managed, I did all I could to give my daughter a good life, it was a long story but today she is schooling in one of the best schools in Europe ! And she will be 13years old on Tomorrow! I'm Still hustling hard till she gets to university ! No time! I'm happy she is alive and doing great!
Her father's family didn't want him to marry a black woman so they offered me 3 million naira as at that time to go and leave the baby, but I refused instead I left them all to do it on my own!"

Terry G who revealed in an interview that fatherhood has changed him and made him more responsible was quoted as saying “He says fatherhood has changed a whole about him, it has made him more coordinated ,given him a wider view of life and he also said that he has to be more responsible so that his son can be proud of who he is”.

Odunlade Adekola The Thirty-six year old Yoruba actor, has allegedly completed a multi-million naira hotel in Abeokuta, Ogun State. According to Encomium,is within the range of N40 million around Adibe axis at Abeokuta in Ogun State about a year ago.News broke out few days ago that the hotel would be ready in two months. Insiders claimed that funds for the hotel was from some of the endorsement deals he garnered while he was an Ambassador of Globacom and currently with Ogun State government.

The Nollywood actor diversified a few years ago and launched his secondary school – St Nicholas College in Magodo, Lagos, which he reportedly invested N 200 Million.
On Friday 24th January 2014, the school was shut down by the court after a court battle since its establishment in 2005. According to reports, the 90s lover boy was battling for ownership of the school property until he recently lost the case.
