DAILY BIBLE READING Sat. 4/1/2014 Work While It Is Day Jn. 9:1-5
Jesus answered the disciples that the blindness of the man they encountered was not as a result of sin but that the work of God might be revealed in him. Know that there are some people that are waiting for your manifestation. These destinies have been tied to yours. Except both of you meet they may not be delivered. Jesus also said He must do the work of God while it is day because the night is coming when no one can work. Your day is now, when you are active, agile, able to talk, able to meet people. You night is coming, when you are old and inactive or when you go to meet the Lord when you will not be able to work for God again. How do you use your time for the preaching of the gospel?
Point of Emphasis: As long as you are in the world, Christ expects you to be the light of the world.
Prayer Point: Lord, help me to partner You in giving the light of the gospel to those who sit in darkness.
